Oceanside Osteo Geelong began its journey from a desire to provide the Greater Geelong community with high quality, incomparable health care. We want to make a meaningful impact in peoples lives. To do this, we strive to provide a high level of health care that is tailored to each individual because everyone's goals are different. Some people want their knee injury fixed so they can continue to run marathons, whilst others simply want to be able to get up and down from the ground without discomfort so they can play with their kids. We personally go out of our way to get to know each and everyone of our patients and their goals, so that their treatment and management is specific to them. There is nothing worse than feeling like you have not been listened to when seeing a health practitioner for your injury. |

Dr. Nicholas Cannon - Osteopath
B.Sc (Clin. Science), M.H.Sc (Osteopathy) | Cert IV & Diploma Work Health & Safety Nick is the Principal Osteopath at Oceanside Osteo in Geelong. He has over 8 years of clinical experience and has been working around the Geelong and Bellarine since 2016. He has worked with talented Osteopaths, Physiotherapists and Sports Doctors since moving to Geelong, advancing his skills in the treatment and management of neck & back pain and sporting injuries. Nick currently works alongside some of Geelong's best Myotherapists at Myotherapy and Allied Health, seeing a large range of injuries across all ages. Working alongside skilled practitioners from each profession (Osteopathy, Physiotherapy and Myotherapy) has enabled Nick the unique opportunity to combine aspects from each profession to create a robust style of treatment that is somewhat a hybrid of all modalities. This unique style of treatment provides his patients with high value, quality treatment options that incorporate manual therapy (massage), dry needling, joint manipulation and exercise prescription. Outside of clinic, he enjoys hiking, playing golf, recreational running (recently completing the Great Ocean Road Half Marathon) and spending time with his wife, their two beautiful boys and their four-legged fur baby Lani.
